Namaskar. I work as a kindergarten directress of the two playschools in Helsinki, Finland. We offer enjoyable educational programmes conducted in English, for children of 2 - 6 years old, based on the principle of Neo - humanism. Neo-humanist Education is an alternative educational system. Emphasis is given to moral education and the inculcation of idealism. The curriculum nurtures universal love for the entire created world and transmits ethical values through all disciplines.Neohumanist Education fosters respect for all, regardless of culture, religion, race or nationality. This love and respect is extended to animals and plants and the earth‚s ecosystems. Children learn these principles through lessons and through their relationships with students and with teachers as well as through the practice of meditation. The schools are open from early morning until late afternoon. Attendance in the kindergarten is flexible. A warm home cooked, nutritious and delicious vegetarian lunch is provided for the children as well as morning and afternoon snacks.
